Biography:
Fiona is an award winning environmental journalist for The Guardian - the lead quality newspaper in the UK for environmental issues. Fiona has also acknowledged her previous involvement with environmental agencies, including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and prides herself on her core values and shared beliefs with such organisations. Prior to her role at The Guardian, Fiona worked for more than a decade with the Financial Times. She has reported on every major environmental issue from as far afield as the Arctic to the Amazon. Her wide range of interviewees include the Tony Blair and Al Gore. Fiona has also interviewed the Prince of Monaco on environmental issues. In November of 2012, Fiona won the Communication award from the Euro Mediterranean Conference for raising awareness about the New Energy Efficiency Directive.
