In his rugby career, Brian achieved 64 international caps for England and partook in two British and Irish Lions tours of Australia. Since retiring from rugby, Brian has carved out a successful media career including guest appearances on programmes such as Grandstand, Comic Relief, Newsnight, The Generation Game, They Think It's All Over, The Weakest Link, Oz Clarke's Wine Show and Sports Personality of the Year. Brian also currently writes a regular rugby column in the Daily Telegraph and writes a wine column for the Sun.

Biography:

Brian Moore is BBC Television's rugby presenter and co-commentator. He also writes a regular rugby column in the Daily Telegraph and writes a wine column for the Sun.

During his rugby career Brian played club rugby for Old Crossleyans, Nottingham, Harlequins and Richmond. He made his international debut in 1987 against Scotland and achieved 64 international caps for England.

In 1991 he was voted Whitbread Rugby World Player of the Year.
 

A qualified litigation solicitor, Brian has carved out a successful media career since his retirement from rugby including guest appearances on programmes such as Grandstand, Comic Relief, Newsnight, The Generation Game, They Think It’s All Over, The Weakest Link, Oz Clarke’s Wine Show and Sports Personality of the Year.

Apart from his interest in and love of wine, Brian is also FSA qualified, a qualified OPI Nail manicurist and a semi-skilled sheet metal shearer.

His other passions are opera, cooking, skiing, politics, history, film and Chelsea FC.
