Biography:
Alan Peasland is the Head of Red Bull Racing’s CAD/PLM team at their Formula One operation in Milton Keynes, UK.
Alan has been with Red Bull Racing for over 5 years, during which time he’s been involved in several large scale Teamcenter and NX upgrades, as well as driving the PLM solution forwards and increasing the companies use of the Siemens PLM Product Suite.
Al has an extensive Engineering background, having started out as an Aerospace Design Engineer, then moving into Automotive Transmission Design. Whilst he may not look old enough, Alan now has over 20 years experience with NX and its earlier derivatives. A short stint as a CAD Consultant and Trainer saw Alan transition from an NX/Teamcenter User into an NX/TC Administrator role, which has ultimately enabled him to take on the challenging world of Formula One PLM Management.
